ABOUT MAHJONG RADAR

Mahjong belongs around a real table.

Mahjong Radar is a community web app for people who want to find players, discover tables, host games and stay connected to their local Mahjong scene. It is designed for recreational social play, not gambling.

The problem we are solving

Finding a reliable Mahjong table can be surprisingly difficult. Players may be spread across different chat groups, clubs and neighbourhoods. Hosts may not know who is available, which variation they play or whether they can attend consistently.

Mahjong Radar brings those pieces together in one place while keeping exact addresses, private chats and personal contact details protected behind member access controls.

Built for players and hosts

Players can create a profile, select the Mahjong styles they play, discover nearby public tables and request a seat. Hosts can publish a table, review requests, manage a waitlist and coordinate with confirmed players in a table chat.

The app also supports local circles, city communities, recurring tables, event reminders, attendance reliability and optional verification tools.

Our principles

  • Respect every player and every variation of Mahjong.
  • Keep private information private until it is needed for a real table.
  • Make hosting simple enough for a first-time host.
  • Reward reliable attendance and constructive community behaviour.
  • Support social Mahjong without betting, wagering or cash-stake play.

A living community product

Mahjong Radar is designed to improve through feedback from players, hosts, venues and local organisers. Public pages explain how the platform works; the member area contains the tools used to organise actual games.

Feature availability can vary by installation and administrator settings. Public pages never replace the private member controls used for exact locations, chats or personal contact details.
