FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions before your first table?
These answers explain the public purpose of Mahjong Radar. Feature availability can vary because administrators can enable or disable optional modules.
What is Mahjong Radar?
Mahjong Radar is a community web app for finding Mahjong players, discovering tables, hosting games and coordinating local Mahjong groups.
Can I find Mahjong players near me?
Members can search relevant tables, players and city communities using location and Mahjong-format information provided in profiles and listings.
Which Mahjong variations are supported?
The app can support American, Hong Kong, Riichi, MCR, Chinese Classical, Taiwanese, Singaporean and other regional or house styles. Hosts should describe the exact rules used at their table.
Does a seat request share my mobile number?
Yes, when this feature is enabled. Before submitting the request, the app clearly tells you that your verified mobile number will be shared with that table’s host so the host can speak with you before confirming.
Is my table address public?
Exact private addresses are not intended to be exposed on public search pages. Hosts can provide detailed directions to confirmed players inside the protected table experience.
Can I host a private table?
Private tables and reusable invite codes can be enabled by the administrator. A host can then limit who can find or join the table.
Does Mahjong Radar support gambling?
No. The platform is for recreational social Mahjong and does not permit organising betting, wagering or cash-stake play.
Is Mahjong Radar a mobile app?
It is a mobile-first web app and can be installable as a Progressive Web App on supported browsers and devices.
Can a club or venue use Mahjong Radar?
Yes. Clubs, organisers and venues can use table listings, groups, city tools, multi-table events and optional venue profiles, depending on administrator settings.
How do I get support?
Use the Contact Club Support option on the public landing page or inside the member app when the support module is enabled.
Feature availability can vary by installation and administrator settings. Public pages never replace the private member controls used for exact locations, chats or personal contact details.
