SAFETY & TRUST

Useful profiles without unnecessary exposure.

Mahjong Radar is designed to help people meet for real games while reducing the amount of private information placed in public listings.

Private by default where it matters

  • Exact private table addresses are not intended for public indexing.
  • Private chats and group conversations require member access.
  • Invite codes and account-recovery links are excluded from public search pages.
  • Personal contact details are not placed in the public sitemap.

Mobile sharing for seat requests

A host may need to speak with a player before confirming a seat. Before the request is sent, Mahjong Radar tells the player that the verified mobile number will be shared with that table’s host. The request is not treated as consent for unrelated contact or marketing.

Verification and account security

Administrators can require email or mobile verification for selected actions. Secure sessions, password reset, login alerts and optional administrator multi-factor authentication help protect accounts.

Community moderation

Reporting, blocking, support tickets, attendance records and administrator review tools can be enabled. These tools should be used with context and fairness, not as automatic punishment for a single misunderstanding.

No gambling organisation

Mahjong Radar is for recreational social Mahjong. Betting, wagering, cash-stake play and other prohibited activity must not be organised through the platform. Members and hosts remain responsible for following local law and venue rules.

For urgent safety concerns

Do not rely on an app support inbox for emergencies. Contact local emergency services or the appropriate local authority when someone is in immediate danger.

Feature availability can vary by installation and administrator settings. Public pages never replace the private member controls used for exact locations, chats or personal contact details.
